Gold Kids "Ode to Youth" 10" Inch Brown Yellow Haze
Originally released in 2010, Ode To Youth captures Sardinia's Gold Kids at their most intense, delivering a powerful statement of raw emotion, desperation, and uncompromising hardcore. With their unmistakable blend of crushing riffs, explosive rhythms, and deeply personal lyrics, the band helped establish a distinctive voice within the European hardcore scene.
Across four relentless tracks, including "Mors Semper Certa Est," "On Her Wings," "Nine Circles," and "Growing Pains," Gold Kids channel anger, frustration, and vulnerability into a sound that is as emotionally devastating as it is fiercely energetic. Every breakdown, every desperate scream, and every moment of tension reflects the passion and authenticity that defined the band's legacy.
More than fifteen years later, Ode To Youth remains a powerful testament to an era of European hardcore driven by sincerity, urgency, and conviction. Released on Anchors Aweigh Records, this record is an essential piece of Italian hardcore history and a must-have for anyone who believes in music that comes straight from the heart.
