Dead Swans "Southern Blue" 7" Inch Vinyl Blue w/ Black Splatter
Originally released in 2007, Southern Blue captures Brighton's Dead Swans at the very beginning of their journey, delivering an explosive introduction to one of the most passionate and influential bands in British melodic hardcore. Combining relentless aggression, emotionally charged vocals, and raw, heartfelt songwriting, the EP laid the foundations for the distinctive sound that would later define their acclaimed releases.
Featuring standout tracks such as "Into Dust," "Lines Of Seperation," "Dead Untill Dark," and "The Hanging Sun," Southern Blue channels frustration, isolation, and emotional turmoil into a powerful collection of songs filled with urgency and intensity. Blending crushing rhythms, haunting melodies, and desperate screams, Dead Swans created a sound that perfectly captured the spirit of the UK hardcore scene during the late 2000s.
Originally released on 7" vinyl by Anchors Aweigh Records in 2007, this special Blue with Black Splatter vinyl edition represents an essential early chapter in the band's discography, preceding their celebrated debut full-length Sleepwalkers.
Nearly two decades later, Southern Blue remains a defining document of British melodic hardcore, a raw and deeply personal release that continues to resonate with longtime fans and new generations discovering the band.
