Cheap Date Release New Single “Silent Boy”

Cheap Date are back with their new single Silent Boy, out today on all major digital platforms.

Born in Italy in 2019 from the ashes of other bands, Cheap Date have built their sound around the meeting point between hardcore punk and alternative rock, bringing together ’90s influences, melodic songwriting, raw energy and elements of emo revival.

Silent Boy shows a more introspective side of the band, while keeping the intensity that defines their sound. The song moves through a balance of melody and distortion, vulnerability and urgency, creating an emotional atmosphere without losing its punk edge.

The track deals with feelings of isolation, distance and invisibility, capturing the tension between wanting to reach someone and watching them slowly withdraw. Rather than offering a clear resolution, Silent Boy leaves that feeling hanging in the air — raw, personal and open to interpretation.
